Google Chromecast SDK out been for while.
Yesterday i was just do Google how to play (streaming) laptop or computer local video on Chromecast and found a below link it is called "LocalChromecast player"

it is just HTML 5 player. it is also have subtitle feature.
Really Nice player.
it is using media element JavaScript library.
